Life
I've been living in Colorado since 1975, with the exception of 10 years in Southern Florida. I've been married (to the same man) for 25 years and have a wonderful 25 year old daughter who just graduated college in Tampa, FL. We just bought 10 acres of land in a rural area and are building our own home next to the Gunnison River. I'm an Early Childhood Specialist and have been teaching teachers to teach for many years.
I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN HEARING FROM 1965 GRADUATES.
I go ATV'ing and raft in white water when I want to blow off some steam. I also take rides on the Mesa to wonder in the beautiful views. When I have a difficulty I often write my 9th grade boyfriend, Steve Ragusea, and he helps me - he's a psychologist.
My biggest surprise is that I'm living here...Expand for more
in beautiful Colorado. We have everything here - from deserts to mountain peaks - from culture to laying back and watching the river. Right now we live in the high desert. There's no place else I would like to live! It also surprised me that I've been married 3 times - I always thought a person only married once - oh, well - that didn't happen! I wanted 3 children and I have 1 - she is a carbon copy of me in many ways, which does not make her happy all the time....
Right now, in order to earn a living, I am working 5 p/t jobs - teaching at the local college, helping home schoolers, coaching child care centers, training early childhood providers and starting to do workshops for PBS. Earning a living has been difficult - I'm sooooo out of the box I often don't "fit".
